Sunrise Sunset

I consider myself lucky to be a Long Island resident with access to THE most awe inspiring sunrises and sunsets. They are the main reason I chose to become a photographer. Every day brings a new beginning and different ending; some nights there is an afterglow when the sun dips past the horizon as depicted in my image “Afterglow” while other nights the sky lights up like fire as seen in my image “Helen’s Fire”, taken on what would have been my mom’s 80th birthday. Mornings have a personality all their own as seen in "Peaceful Beginning" which was captured in Lake George. Please enjoy the views!
